Review Summary:

We found in our review process that PrintPlace delivered consistently above average quality cards with a number of finishing options.

PrintPlace marks one of the many business card printing options available to prospective buyers. It isn’t the flashiest, and doesn’t offer nearly as many features as some competitors, but it does what it does with high quality and precision, both in printing and customer support.

While it isn’t one of the more touted options to print business cards, we found in our review process that PrintPlace delivered consistently above average quality cards with a number of finishing options. The design features leave a lot to be desired, but the printing process is otherwise relatively easy to use.

Most business card printing services have options to use your own images and designs or create them within the website interface. After a time with no in site creation options, PrintPlace does now have predesigned templates. There aren’t as many available as some of the top competing printing services, but as far as templates go they are serviceable, though with no frills.

As you choose your printing options a dynamic price calculator updates order totals based on the individual features you select. This option seems simple, but was very helpful and got great marks in our review process. The ability to see price points as options are debated makes the process much more palatable.

Printing options are another success story. You have the option to print horizontally or vertically, as well as front and back. Finishes can be gloss aqueous coating, UV gloss, and dull UV coating. Rounded corners are available and bleeding edges are conveniently included in pricing. Some of the more advanced options seen in other cards are not available though. You won’t be able to utilize magnetic or plastic cards, 3D printing or include NFC chips in cards, but as far as traditional cards are concerned, PrintPlace has you covered, utilizing offset printing to increase print quality.

Delivery was a mixed bag with a wide range. You can get cards delivered the next day for a price, and can select two, three and five day delivery, but unless you choose a specific delivery feature it can take anywhere from two to nine days. It is a help that the customer service was top notch. Phone, LiveChat, and email were all quick response and issue free in our review process.

You can add a number of other options to your order including envelopes, calendars, banners, flyers, and brochures, all with the same imaging to keep consistency. These options keep PrintPlace in pace with the competition. Pricing goes one step further, offering price points that rival and beat the competition. Five hundred business cards clock in at only $17.50.

For your money, PrintPlace makes the list as a great potential business card printing service. Minor quirks keep it from making the top of our list, but with competitive rates and above average support and print quality it’s easier to overlook a lack of overall options in design and fluctuating delivery schedule.
